In 1978, Action Park opened in Vernon, New Jersey. Shortly after, the amusement park became known for its dangerous rides, sending five to ten people to the emergency room every day and earning the nickname "Accident Park." Although it's been closed for over 20 years, its deadly reputation lives on.
