Vitsoe 621 Side Table

Created by Dieter Rams in 1962 and recently put back into production after 25 years on the shelf, the Vitsoe 621 Side Table is a terrific example of the legend's cleverly simple designs. The table comes in two heights, 17¾" and 14¼", allowing it to nest, while the versatile design lets it sit on its feet or its side, opening up the possibility of sliding it over other pieces of furniture. It's injection molded in England using a special impact-modified polystyrene, and offers surprising strength, thanks to Rams' decision to concentrate extra material along the edges. Hand-painted with a two-part polyurethane finish and available in black or white.
