Made from Swiss-engineered, military-grade material, fire is no match for the Vollebak 100 Year Vest. The utility garment is immune to flames thanks to a three-layer design. Its outer shell is made from abrasion-resistant fabric that repels wind and water while its inner layer is constructed with aramid fiber that can't burn or melt. More of a coating than fabric, the middle layer expands to 1000x its size, sort of like an airbag when it comes in contact with flames. By doing so, it creates a fire-proof barrier that can't be penetrated. While it works like armor, the garment is still breathable and comfortable to wear. The vest is finished off with 11 external pockets. Including compartments on the back, side, shoulders, chest, and waist, it can double as a backpack and hold all the gear for the adventure ahead.
