Vollebak Thermal Camouflage Jacket

Vollebak has created the world's first Thermal Camouflage Jacket. Designed to eventually make the human body invisible to infrared cameras, it's a computer-programmable jacket that brings us one step closer to turning the invisibility cloak from science fiction into reality. Vollebak, known for its technically advanced clothing, including a jacket made with 11km of copper and a puffer that stores and re-emits sunlight, spent three years working with the University of Manchester on the project. It contains 42 graphene patches each made up of over 100 layers of graphene. These control thermal radiation without changing the jacket's temperature, so they can be programmed to disappear in infrared. A prototype for now, it proves the viability of wearable thermal camouflage for the first time.
