Volocopter VoloXPro

Volocopter expands its electric flight lineup with the VoloXPro, a two-seat modular ultralight multicopter designed for short-range transport. Powered by a fully electric system, the aircraft uses 18 rotors to reach speeds of up to 47 mph with a maximum range of 25 miles, enough to hop from Malibu to Catalina Island without a ferry ticket or a fuel stop. Developed in collaboration with Diamond Aircraft, the VoloXPro is designed for commercial and private use including air taxi services, emergency response, and flight training. A modular architecture allows for multiple configurations, with options ranging from simplified single-stick control to upgraded battery systems and fast charging. Built with safety standards aligned with certified aviation systems, the VoloXPro is scheduled for an inaugural flight in summer 2026.
