Vow Lab-Grown Foie Gras
A new twist on the French delicacy foie gras — the fattened liver of a force-fed duck or goose — may be getting much more accessible. Introduced in Singapore in April 2025, Vow's lab-grown foie gras isn't exactly foie gras in the traditional sense. Vow's foie gras is sourced from Japanese quail and made completely in a lab — with no fowl involved. Vow gave Chef Masa Takayama full control to design a completely new menu based around the cultured meat.
