Wilson Launch Pad Irons
It's fun to watch guys on the PGA Tour hit precision iron shots with blades. It's less fun to play blades yourself, as the opportunity for chunking and wayward shots is extremely high. Wilson's Launch Pad irons were built specifically for the average (or below average) golfer. They have bulbous, almost hybrid-like hollow bodies that allow for a thin face to increase ball speed and distance. The remarkably flat sole design lets the clubs float above the turf instead of digging in, eliminating "fat" shots while also increasing launch height for softer landings on the green. Available with steel or graphite shafts, they're capped off with midsize grips for extra confidence and comfort.
