As the game of soccer evolves, so does the ball itself. Nike's newest ball aims to revolutionize consistent flight, created over 8 years with 1,700 hours of testing. The ball has a 30 percent truer flight thanks to its AerowSculpt design that uses molded grooves to disrupt airflow across the ball for less drag and more stability while in the air. The grooves are laid out via a four-panel fuse-welded exterior and Nikes uses All Conditions Control 3D ink to print the exterior's "micro flaps." Additionally, each ball benefits from the reduction of 12 panels to four to stiffen seams for a larger sweet spot for feel and control.
