World's Longest Zipline

Jebel Jais, the highest peak in the United Arab Emirates, will soon be home to a new world-class attraction. The World's Longest Zipline is set to open there in December. Developed by and Ras Al Khaimah and current record holder Toro Verde, the exact length is still unknown, but is guaranteed to best the already impressive 2,200-meter span of Puerto Rico's "The Monster." Riders will reach speeds between 55 and 80 mph on their descent, with side-by-side cables allowing families and couples to experience the face-down thrill together, and thanks to its unique position atop a mountain, it might also lay claim to another title: world's tallest.
