Over the years, Apple has made its Watch a more capable standalone device, but it still lacks a camera. The Wristcam gives it two. This Apple-certified device has 2-megapixel self-facing and 8-megapixel outward-facing Sony-sourced cameras that let it capture 1080p video and 4K stills. It can be used on its own via a button or via the companion Watch app, and has 8GB of onboard storage that syncs automatically with the wearer's iPhone when it's back in range. LEDs let subjects know when the camera is recording, and interchangeable bands let it adapt to suit different outfits. Shipping March 2021.
