WS New York
The rich are getting richer at 35 Hudson Yards: the new 92-story residential tower on Manhattan's west side. That because a members-only restaurant is being added to the building, featuring two master sommeliers and a rotating roster of Michelin-starred chefs. The top-notch wine emphasis is added thanks to Marvin Shanken, one of the founders of WS New York who also happens to be the publisher of Wine Spectator magazine. The building's luxury apartments range from over $5 million to nearly $28 million, but rumors suggest even residents might find a membership to this exclusive restaurant difficult to obtain.
