Yamaha Turn-T Smartphone Turntable Concept
Nostalgia and technology collide with Yamaha's smartphone-powered record player. Part of the "Stepping Out of the Slate" collection, the Turn-T concept mimics the motions of placing a record on a turntable, using your phone's screen as the vinyl. Users can swipe through albums once they've made a selection, set the smartphone on the device, and position the stylus on the screen to play the song. To switch tracks, reposition the arm just like a traditional player. The Turn-T is currently in the prototype phase but keep an eye out for possible production in the future.
