Cadillac 2011 CTS-V Coupe

Cadillac 2011 CTS-V Coupe

We told you it was coming, and now, finally, here it is. The Cadillac 2011 CTS-V Coupe ($TBA; Summer 2010) boasts an impressive 556hp, 6.2L V-8, a six-speed manual or six-speed auto with paddle shifters, Brembo brakes, exclusive Saffron interior trim, a one-inch wider rear axle than its standard stablemate, magnetic ride control, and optional Recaro seats — all of which make it a formidable adversary for other luxury sport coupes.

  • Lexus LF-A

Cars like this usually stay at the concept stage indefinitely. But the Lexus LF-A ($375,000) will be built in 2010 and can be parked in your garage this time next year. Powered by a lightweight (aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy and titanium alloy) 4.8-liter V10 engine, this rear-drive, two-seat supercar pushes over 550 horsepower and a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph. Only 500 will be produced worldwide.

  • Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition

Celebrating the October, 1969 launch of the Datsun 240Z, the new Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition ($TBA; Spring 2010) thankfully moves beyond the quaint 150hp 2.4-liter engine of the original for Nissan's latest and greatest tech. Features include a 332 hp V6 — sadly, not enhanced with turbo for this edition — 19-inch, "smoke" Rays wheels, a special 40th Quartz paint job, red brake calipers, red leather interior, red stitching, and the requisite 40th anniversary badges and commemorative plaque.
