Dead tired, soaked to the bone, full of doubt and on the endless campaign trail. Former President Barack Obama stepped into a small room with a small crowd of about 20 twenty people in Greenwood, South Carolina, with a sense of dread. And then, in the back of the room, a woman began to chant: "Fired up! Ready to go!" 12 artists came together to animate a part of a speech by Mr. Obama describing how these words put the hope back in his historic run for the Presidency.
There was a time when Neptune's trident meant dominating performances at the highest levels of motorsport. Racing legends Juan Miguel Fangio and Stirling Moss helped put Maserati at the top of international motorsport with the 250F, the Formula One car which is a direct ancestor to the 3500 GT featured here. The 3500 GT was Maserati's first serially produced road car, a turn from their production of racing cars only.
