BMW x Krautmotors Bauhaus 100 F 850 GS Motorcycle

The Staatliches Bauhaus was a German art school that operated from 1919 to 1933 when it closed due to pressure from the Nazi regime. Despite its closure, Bauhaus would go on to become arguably the most influential art school of the 20th century, spawning a movement that bore its name and influencing generations of artists and designers up to the present day. Celebrating 100 years of Bauhaus, BMW and Krautmotors collaborated on a motorcycle that gives BMW's classic 1969 /5 a modern stylistic update. Using the slim engine from the BMW F 850 GS adventure bike, Krautmotors designed a frame that draws on Bauhaus principles for its modern-retro look. The bike is fully rideable, and although not intended for daily use, it will debut at the StarrWars straight-line race in Europe.
