1955 Ferrari 375 MM Coupe Speciale
The Ferrari 375 MM was made from 1953 to 1954 as a race car designed specifically for the famous Mille Miglia, from which the car got its name. The 4.5-liter V12 was derived from the Ferrari F1 car, but with a shorter stroke and larger bore, making an impressive 335 horsepower. Only 26 were made, along with four converted from the previous 340 MM model, and this 375 MM custom-bodied by Ghia is one-of-one. Finished in a salmon and gunmetal grey two-tone, the design eschews the traditional Ferrari style for a more square '50s aesthetic that's almost World of Tomorrow-esque. The interior features the original beautifully worn leather that matches the exterior, along with analog gauges and levers for the cabin climate controls. All the original chrome and badging is here, making this one of the most interesting classic Ferraris on the market.
