Taj Ma Garaj Car Collection
Legend has it that the late John Dixon was bitten by the Porsche bug when he was passed by one while driving down the highway in a muscle car in high school. The next year he bought one, a decades-long obsession ensued. The end result is the Taj Ma Garaj collection, featuring some of the best examples of Porsche's long history, with everything from rare cars, memorabilia, signage, and even arcade games represented. The main draw is the cars, and there are some serious standouts that would wow even the most hardcore Porsche collector. A 1957 Porsche 356 A Carrera GT Speedster is the crown jewel of the collection, as the most race-prepped Speedster made by the factory and in absolutely mint original condition. Later models include a 1981 Porsche 924 Carrera GTS Clubsport, a one-of-15 factory homologation model, and a highly-optioned 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo, last of the air-cooled models and custom-ordered by Mr. Dixon directly from the factory. A true Porsche mecca, there's something here for everyone, even if it isn't the high-dollar cars.
