1955 Matchless G45 Racing Motorcycle

Matchless has had racing at its heart from the very beginning, winning the very first Isle of Mann TT in 1907. The G45 debuted at the Manx GP in 1951, taking 4th place, and about 80 are thought to have been made over the next six years. This G45 was owned by South African racer Borro 'Beppe' Castellani. Not much is know about Beppe, except for a line in the autobiography of the legendary Jim Redman, mentioning that he couldn't touch Borro and his G45. In running condition, this Matchless might be the ultimate cafe racer, ready to ride.
