1964 Citroen DS 19 Decapotable

It's hard to talk about this 1964 Citroën DS 19 Décapotable without mentioning its coachwork. Created by Henri Chapron, the DS convertible started as an independent project before Citroën finally gave the official okay. That was a very good thing, as it allowed the streamlined body to be mated to the DS' advanced self-levelling hydro-pneumatic suspension, creating a mix of handling, performance, and looks that wouldn't be matched for years. This particular example was delivered new to France, has had only three owners, and has been expertly restored over the past 15 years, including complete overhauls of the engine and semi-automatic transmission, a re-trim of the interior, and a renewal of the electrical systems.
