1967 Ferrari 412P Race Car
Ferrari Classiche has just completed a total restoration of one of the rarest Ferraris ever built — this 1967 412P. Four 412P race cars were built for privateer teams, a combination of the 1966 P3 chassis with the updated 1967 P4 bodywork. Power came courtesy of a 4-liter, mid-mounted V12 making 420 horsepower and driving the rear wheels via a ZF five-speed gearbox. These customer cars used Weber carbs instead of the Lucas mechanical fuel injection of the factory racers, giving them a reduced output, although top speed was a still-impressive 193 MPH. The bright yellow paintwork suggests that this car, suggesting it is chassis no. 0850, raced by Francorchaps and driven to a podium finish at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona.
