1967 Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake Revisited

Not to be outdone by the likes of Jaguar, Shelby American is releasing a continuation of what is arguably the ultimate Shelby Mustang — the GT500 Super Snake. Only one was ever built in 1967, and each of the 10 new cars will be built from 1967 Mustang fastbacks with factory VIN numbers and original titles. An aluminum or cast-iron big-block 427 V8 is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission, with disc brakes and upgraded suspension, which was good for 170 MPH over 50 years ago. Each car gets a dash plaque autographed by Carrol Shelby and Don McCain before their passing, making this car as true to the original as you can get.
