1968 Jaguar E Type Coupe

Fast and sleek, the Jaguar E-Type was an immediate success when it debuted in 1961, even garnering compliments from Enzo Ferrari. The car would undergo several improvements over its lifetime, from larger versions of its original inline-six to the addition of a V12 and an emphasis on luxury in its later years. This 1968 example was originally a US-spec car, with a 4.2-liter inline-six and an improved synchromesh transmission. Presented in its original silver, the car has been enjoyed but maintained, logging 86,000 miles over the course of its career. This E-Type is currently up for auction via Bonham's in the UK.
