1970 Range Rover Velar Prototype
Before the Range Rover became a luxury icon, it was a utilitarian SUV. Two doors and a vinyl hose-out interior were as nice as it got — along with a huge dose of off-road capability. This Davos white Range Rover Velar is a prototype that has been in the same family since 1973. The Velar served as a cold-weather testing prototype in Finland before being sold on by Land Rover to one of its dealers, where the car would remain ever after. The SUV was subject to a restoration in 2018 and is ready to pick up the adventure, exactly where it left off.
