1970/83 Dolly Madison Peanuts Snoopy Trading Card

The snack cake brand Dolly Madison co-sponsored the original Peanuts holiday specials alongside Coca-Cola starting in the late 1960s, with animated sequences acknowledging both brands running at the open and close of every broadcast. When 1972 FCC regulations banned advertising within children's programming, those sequences were cut from every subsequent rerun and home release, scrubbing the partnership from the record entirely. What survived are the Charles Schulz Peanuts cards printed directly on Dolly Madison Zingers snack cake boxes. This Snoopy example has been graded SGC 8, the highest grade this card has ever received, with only two known examples at this level.
