1972 Playboy Framed Stock Certificate
Founded in Chicago in 1953, Playboy went on to become the most famous men's "entertainment" magazine ever published. This historic document is a stock certificate for Playboy Enterprises, Inc with printed signatures of the company's president and founder, Hugh Hefner, and was issued in 1972 to a wave of controversy. The fuss was over the vignette of Miss February 1971, who appears nude above the company name on the certificate. Playboy later changed the vignette to something less controversial, making this certificate even more collectible.
