1972 Playboy Less than 100 Shares Framed Stock Certificate
It turns out that some of the most sought-after Playboy branded collectibles are some of the company's early stock certificates rather than their famous magazine issues. This certificate from 1972 is a prime example, featuring a brown border, a "Less Than 100 Shares" designation, and a printed signature from Hugh Hefner. It also features a vignette of a nude Miss February 1971, Willy Rey, which became controversial enough to have the brand change it not long afterward, making this example even more collectible. The certificate is presented in a custom frame with acid-free mats and backing along with a UV protective acrylic cover.
