1974 Ferrari 365 GT4 BB

The future came for Ferrari in 1971, the year the 365 GT4 BB (Berlinetta Boxer) premiered at the Turin Motor Show. With a 12-cylinder boxer engine derived from the Formula One program, the 365 GT4 BB would set the stage for a mid-engine layout in Ferrari's top models instead of the traditional front-engine standard. The 1974 model pictured here is one of 58 right-hand-drive models made for the UK market and has the coveted Ferrari Classiche "Red Book", noting that the interior was retrimmed and a replacement type F102 engine was fitted. The odometer shows 39,139 miles, and the car will have its "BB 365" number plate transferred to the winning bidder. The car goes up for auction November 5, 2022, at RM Sotheby's London event.
