1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Coupe

The ultimate evolution of the Lamborghini Countach came in 1989 with the 25th Anniversary Edition, powered by a 5-liter V12, straked intakes, and flared bodywork. While the car still retained the pioneering "Italian wedge" penned by Marcello Gandini, Lamborghini and Horacio Pagani made every effort to keep the Countach stylistically relevant throughout the flamboyant '80s — although it probably didn't have to. This 1989 example is one of about 658 25th Anniversary Edition Countaches made and was sold new in the US. The car wears the cleaner Euro-spec front bumper and has had a recent service, bringing it up to spec — although a Carfax report notes and accident in 2007. The car is currently up for auction on Bring A Trailer.
