1975 Porsche 914 Targa
The Porsche Boxster and Cayman can trace their lineage back to 1969 and the Porsche 914. A joint venture between Volkswagen and Porsche, the 914 was a mid-engine roadster available only with a targa top and flat-four and later flat-six engines. The 914 — like all Porsches — had a successful racing career on road and rally circuits. This 1975 914 is one of the last made — production ended in 1976 — and has the highly desirable 2-liter flat-four. Four-wheel disc brakes, Fuchs alloy- wheels, and great handling make this an excellent entry into Porsche fandom. The car will go to auction at Bonham's Quail Lodge event August 13, 2021.
