1978 Porsche 911 gProgramm Coupe

In the world of outlaw 911s, Singer isn't the only choice if you're in the market for classic 911 styling with modern, high-performance underpinnings. Based in Long Island, gProgramm builds some of the best outlaw 911s available. This 1978 911, nicknamed "Mercy" and just the second gProgramm built, has been completely reworked from the ground up, starting with being totally disassembled and sandblasted down to bare metal. Rustproofing and a high-quality Slate Grey finish came next, along with subtle modifications to the bodywork like an RSR-style fuel cap in the center of the hood and factory-style foglamps under the front bumper. 17-inch reproduction Fuchs-style wheels, 986 Boxer brakes, and new coilover dampers dramatically improve the handling. A balanced and blueprinted 320 horsepower, 3.4-liter flat six with Weber downdraft carbs provides the beating heart and a beautiful Tartan interior with racing harnesses competes this modern classic.
