1978 Toyota Land Cruiser HJ-45 Truck

The latest from Legacy Overland is as practical — and true to its roots — as you could find in the crowded 4x4 restomod market. The base for the project is a bit of a rarity: A 1978 Toyota HJ-45 long-bed truck. Not nearly as common as its short-wheelbase siblings, the HJ-45 platform makes this project truly unique. A ground-up restoration saw the truck completely disassembled and stripped to its bare frame and refinished in black and military green. The inline six-cylinder diesel was totally rebuilt, with a 2" lift and bead-lock tires added. The result is a restoration that p[erfectly walks the line between classic style and modern reliability.
