1985 Lancia Delta S4 Stradale Coupe

The Lancia Delta S4 Stradale was made with one purpose — winning the Group B World Rally Championship. In order to homologate the car for competition, Lancia built 200 road-going examples, placing third in 1985 and winning the 1986 championship, until a technical inspection invalidated a race result and cost Lancia the title. This 1985 Delta S4 is powered by a mid-mounted 1.8-liter four-cylinder with both turbo- and supercharging — known as twin charging. With all-wheel-drive, a short wheelbase, and low curb weight, the Delta S4 is fast and with quick reflexes, making it perfect for twisty canyon runs. In remarkably unrestored condition, this Delta S4 is one of the last of the mighty Group B rally cars.
