1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe 25th Anniversary Edition
Porsche celebrated the 25th anniversary of the 911 in 1989, building 300 coupes and 200 special edition convertibles for the US market. 240 of those came in Silver Metallic, the same as the poster-quality car seen here, and one of two available colorways. Both the Silver Metallic and Satin Black Metallic coupes came with a silk grey leather interior with black piping, body color Fuchs forged wheels, "25th Anniversary Special Edition" badges, a short-throw shifter for the G50 manual transmission, and either a cassette or CD player — the car here having a Kenwood unit. The car has been enjoyed over the last 34 years, showing 90,000 miles on the odometer, but is immaculate inside and out, underneath and on top, and has a recent service to make it ready for its next owner.
