2000 Ferrari 550 GT1 Race Car

This is what every Ferrari in every garage dreams of — being driven in anger on a racetrack. This Ferrari 550 GT1 spent 11 years on the track, collecting two FIA GT championships, a Le Mans class win, and an overall victory at the Spa 24 hours — a career anyone would be proud of. Originally purchased new by Italtecnica, this is one of four 550s designed and developed for GT racing by the firm. After the 2001 season, the car was entered in the Italian GT championship, where it was occasionally driven by current Mercedes-Benz F1 boss Toto Wolff. The car will be auctioned June 15 at RM Sotheby's Milan auction.
