2019 BMW 8 Series Convertible
BMW's 8-series convertible is missing something that nearly every luxury convertible has — a retractable hardtop. Instead, the 8-series gets a power-retractable soft top with enough extra frame bracing to keep the body as rigid as its fixed-roof sibling. Optional neck warmers and a redesigned windscreen frame give drivers a good reason to keep the top down even when its cold outside and a rollbar that extends with a pyrotechnic charge keeps occupants safe. At its March launch, the M850i xDrive will offer a 4.4-liter, 530-horsepower V8 and all-wheel-drive, good for 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 155 MPH.
