2019 GMC Sierra Elevation Truck
GMC's redesigned Sierra is getting new engine choices and exterior upgrades with the new Elevation model. Door handles and bumpers are body-color and lighting is upgraded to LEDs. The base engine will be the turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder, which produces big numbers from its modest displacement — 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque. If that isn't enough, a 5.3 liter V8 is available with a 3 liter turbodiesel inline-six coming in early 2019. All engines get GM's new 10-speed automatic transmission. Buyers looking for more off-road capability can opt for the X31 package, adding Rancho shocks, skid plates, dual exhaust, and a two-speed transfer case. Expect the Elevation to hit dealers in Fall 2018.
