2020 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe

BMW is bringing its four-door, front-wheel-drive 2 Series to the US in 2020 with the 2 Series Gran Coupe. The styling fits the current BMW Gran Coupe theme, with a long, sloping greenhouse, short deck, and angular, chiseled front. Not seen is the Hofmeister Kink, a BMW styling cue that's been on display for decades. The proportions betray the car's front-engine platform that it shares with the X1 and X2 crossovers, and along with engine and drivetrain choices. The base first is a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four making 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque in the 228i xDrive. The more interesting option is the M235i xDrive, with 301 horsepower and a quick 0-60 of 4.7 seconds. Inside, you'll find a bevy of standard equipment, including a large touchscreen display and Apple Car Play. The 2 Series Gran Coupe will debut at the LA Auto Show, with the car reaching dealers in early 2020.
