BMW has taken the wraps off its M package for the 2020 X5 and X6, and the duo is two of the most powerful, best-performing SUVs you can buy. The best part of any M-edition is under the hood, and BMW has taken the 600 horsepower twin-turbo V8 from the M5 and transplanted it directly into these two SUVs. The entire 553 lb-ft of torque is available from just 1800 RPMs, which is good for a 0-60 sprint of just 3.8 seconds, or 3.7 with the 617 horsepower Competition version. Spring for the M Driver's package and you'll get a top speed of 177 mph and a free training course at one of BMW's two driving schools. The all-wheel-drive system includes a rear-biased Sport mode, and even the brakes have two settings — Comfort and Sport. Despite the ride height and all-wheel-drive, the X5 and X6 M are worthy of the legendary M badge.
