2020 Ford x Blood Type Racing Explorer SUV
The Specialty Equipment Market Association — known as SEMA — 2019 show is almost here, and the one-off customs showing off just how crazy you can get with aftermarket parts are already rolling out. Starting with an all-new 2020 Explorer Limited Hybrid, Blood Type Racing got out of their compact car comfort zone to see what was possible with Ford's newest SUV. A load-leveling suspension kit lowers the Explorer half an inch, making for a tighter stance when combined with 20-inch Ace Alloy AFF09 black chrome wheels wrapped in low-profile all-terrain rubber. The aural note of the hybrid V6 is enhanced with a Borla cat-back exhaust with black chrome tips, while the exterior is dressed up with Lacks Trim Systems black chrome accent pieces. Two BTR Edition snowboards by Blank Snowboards ride in Yakima carrier, giving you an idea of what this SUV was built for. Two other Explorers will be at SEMA, including a street-tuned CGS Performance build and a trackside emergency vehicle by Prefix.
