2020 Hydratrek XTB66 Amphibious ATV

The question is not "Why?" The question is, "Why not?" The Hydratrek XTB66 is an amphibious ATV with six driven wheels surrounded by tracks and a pair of propellers. Power comes from a 2.4-liter turbocharged diesel. The XTB66 has 16 inches of ground clearance, can climb 40-degree slopes, and has a 15 MPH top speed. On the water it can carry up to 1,200 pounds and hit 3.5 MPH. On land, dual hydrostatic pumps and hydraulic motors on each wheel provide power and steering; that changes to the dual propellers when the going gets wet. Marine-grade diamond plate construction and a Warn winch round out the package. The ATV is currently up for auction on Cars and Bids.
