2020 Volvo XC40 Recharge SUV

Based on the award-winning XC40 compact SUV, the 2020 XC40 Recharge is Volvo's first all-electric car and the first in a whole line of all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. It will be powered by an all-wheel-drive powertrain delivering 408 hp, good for a 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds and a range of over 200 miles — and 40 minutes on a fast charger adds around 80% of that back. The XC40 Recharge is also the first Volvo to arrive with an Android-powered infotainment system, fully integrated with the company's Volvo On Call connected services. Sales begin in early 2020; Volvo hopes to make all-electric models at least 50% of their global sales by 2025, with hybrids making up the remainder.
