2021 Bowler Land Rover Defender
Bowler's expertise in building Land Rover-based rally raid vehicles is coming to a road — or lack thereof — near you with their Land Rover Defender. Just as you were about to say goodbye to the old Defender and hello to the lastest generation, Bowler got Land Rover's blessing to build what might be the ultimate version of the Defender. Using the four-door wagon body style, Bowler uses their 575PS rally raid chassis and wraps it in aluminum Defender 110 bodywork. Under the hood will be the 567 horsepower supercharged Jaguar Land Rover V8, while inside is a full interior with a safety cage, air conditioning, and room for luggage. Make no mistake — this is still a serious offroad machine with just enough creature comforts to make it suitable for daily use. Bowler will build the Defender to order, with a left-hand-drive version coming soon.
