2021 Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe

The next generation of Mercedes' GLE coupe is coming mid-2020, and the first model will be the AMG high-performance version. Based on the new 2020 GLE, the AMG coupe shortens the wheelbase by 2.4 inches and is distinguished visually by a sloping fastback roofline and the now-signature grille, as seen on the AMG GT. The best part of and AMG package is what's under the hood, and in the GLE 53 there is a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six making 429 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of twist. This is sent to the 21-inch wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission, with variable damping, ride-height, and active roll stabilization keeping that power on the tarmac. If this isn't enough, an even more powerful AMG GLE 63 will be coming as well next year.
