2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupe & Cabriolet
The worst-kept secret in the automotive world is finally out in the open — the 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S coupe and cabriolet are on display in all their rear-engined glory. After months of spy shots and leaks, the specs for the Turbo S are here, and they're extremely impressive: 0-62 in 2.7 seconds with a top speed of 205 MPH, easily the fastest regular-production 911 ever. The all-wheel-drive system has electronic limited-slip differentials at the center and rear, with active suspension and rear-wheel steering as standard equipment. The track has been widened by 1.8 inches at the front and 0.8 inches at the rear. The new 3.8-liter flat-six makes 641 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, 69 more than the outgoing model, connected to Porsche's excellent eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. A more aggressive front bumper and the trademark side intakes distinguish the Turbo S from lesser models, and revised aerodynamics make up to 200 pounds of downforce at triple-digit speeds. Deliveries should begin in late 2020.
