2022 Bremach Taos SUV

Built and tested in the harshest terrain Russia has to offer, the UAZ Patriot is coming to the US as the Bremach Taos. Bremach is an Italian truck company that went bankrupt in Italy, but its American subsidiary has entered into an agreement to bring the Patriot here for the 2022 model year. The Taos won't wow customers with premium features or high performance, but what buyers will get is a rugged body-on-frame SUV with legitimate offroad capability. The Russian military favorite gets power from a 150 horsepower 2.7-liter four mated to a six-speed GM automatic that drives all four wheels. Electronics come from Bosch and final assembly will take place in Los Angeles. A 60,000-mile warranty along with a 120,000 powertrain guarantee should give prospective buyers confidence in their purchase. Bremach will begin deliveries in mid-2021.
