2023 Porsche 911 Sport Classic Coupe
The driver isn't dead yet. Proof that there's still a market for the human element and not just the lowest numbers possible, Porsche is launching the 911 Sport Classic. The Sport Classic combines the 911 Turbo S's twin-turbo, 543 horsepower flat-six driving just the rear wheels via one transmission option Ᾱ a seven-speed manual. Porsche Active Suspension Management is standard and retuned for the rear-wheel-drive layout, along with rear-wheel steering and Dynamic Chassis Control. The Sport Classic gets a CFRP hood and double-bubble roof, along with special badging including a Porsche Heritage badge on the front, designed to look like the 100,000km badge presented to '50s 356 owners. The interior is a callback to classic Porsches with seats featuring Pepita cloth inserts over Classic Cognac seats and dark Paldao wood trim. The 911 Sport Classic is limited to 1,250 units worldwide.
