2023 U-Boat Worx Super Sub

U-Boat Worx Super Sub is getting an upgraded design even before it's launched. U-Boat Worx and Maritime Research Institute Netherlands have given the three-person submersible a more aquadynamic shape and smoother side fins for improved performance — increasing top speed from 8 to 10 knots. An acrylic sphere still surrounds the passenger compartment, with a maximum depth of 984 feet. Battery life is approximately nine hours, with a 96-hour life support system. The Super Sub starts sea trials in Spring 2022, with orders starting soon afterward.
