2024 BMW XM Label Red

BMW's M lineup gets a new top billing with the XM Label Red. Based on the X-series SUV, the XM Label Red drops with a new 738-hp plug-in-hybrid powertrain, making it the most powerful vehicle in the M range. The power increase over the regular XM model comes from an electric motor between the engine and the eight-speed transmission, driving a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system that launches the Label Red from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds. The suspension comes with active dampers, active sway bars, an electronic limited-slip differential, and M compound brakes. A 19.2-kWh lithium-ion battery pack gives the XM Label Red 30 miles of all-electric range, although BMW hasn't released total range estimates for the SUV. The red trim extends to the interior, with red and black upholstery and red accents throughout the cabin. Information is provided by a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen with the latest iDrive software. Production of the XM Label Red begins in Summer 2024.
