2024 Toyota Tacoma

Toyota's Tacoma is the standard-bearer of midsize pickups. For 2024, it's getting a complete overhaul. The new Tacoma is based on the company's TNGA-F global truck platform that also underpins the full-size Tundra and Sequoia, with a high-strength steel chassis and aluminum upper body. It's powered by either an i-Force turbocharged 2.4L four-cylinder with 278 hp and 317 lb.-ft. of torque, or the i-Force MAX, a hybrid version of the same engine outputting 326 hp and 465 lb.-ft. of torque. As in years past, there will be a TRD Pro version with enhanced off-road capabilities, while the Trailhunter is an all-new variant, using equipment from ARB, Old Man Emu, and RIGID to offer a factory-built overloading solution. Other notable features include an available 14-inch touchscreen, an XtraCab long bed configuration, and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 driver assistance. The 2024 Tacoma will go on sale later this year, with i-Force MAX models arriving in early 2024.
