2025 BMW M4 CS

The BMW M4 CS gets even more of what makes it arguably the best car in BMW's lineup with a refresh for 2025. The M4 in GT3 guise has proven itself on the racetrack in the DTM and endurance races; that has filtered down to the M4's twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six, now making 20 more horsepower for a total of 550. That power drives all four wheels through an eight-speed transmission and BMW's M xDrive system that uses an electronically-controlled differential to split torque between the front and rear wheels, with normal rear bias. The suspension uses revised active dampers and variable-ratio steering, all calibrated for maximum dynamics at the track. M Carbon brakes are an option, sitting behind new forged lightweight alloy wheels, wrapped in standard track tires with even stickier rubber optional. The biggest improvement in the M4 CS comes from a diet — weight is down thanks to extensive use of carbon fiber-reinforced plastics. The M4 CS begins production in Summer 2024.
